Circa 1859. The inn is composed of several historic buildings, five that have been moved to a peaceful country setting on eight acres. There are several farmhouses, a cabin, barn and cottage. Rose Cottage, for instance, is an 1800s farm home. It offers the Lady Banks Suite and The Belinda Suite. The inn's accommodations offer a variety of amenities, including Jacuzzi tubs, phones and private porches. The landscaped grounds feature a hot tub and pool and are less than a mile from the Gruene Historic District. In town, the Redbrick Gastehaus is located a half block from Gruene Hall in the Gruene Historic District. Tucked behind a handsome white wrought iron fence there are six guest rooms. The area is noted for its rafting, tubing, fishing, scenic hill country and shopping.
