Description

Circa 1885. Part of the historic Alamo Square area, a hilltop park with spectacular panoramic views of San Francisco, California, this historic Italianate Victorian inn is conveniently located near the Civic Center, close to bus lines and taxis. Walk to the top of Telegraph Hill to the 210-foot-tall Coit Tower for a stunning sight of the bridge, bay and Alcatraz island. Quiet and comfortable guest rooms boast fluffy feather beds, high ceilings, double-paned windows and modern amenities. Enjoy a continental breakfast before exploring the city's limitless sites and attractions. Proprietors Rosetta and Klaus have been actively involved in historic preservation since 1970.
