Description

Circa 1894. The scenery at Greyhouse is nothing short of wondrous. In the winter, when mountains are capped in white and the evergreens are shrouded in snow, this Victorian appears as a safe haven from the chilly weather. In the summer, the rocky peaks are a contrast to the whimsical house, which looks like something out of an Old West town. The historic home is known around town as the old maternity hospital, but there is nothing medicinal about it now. The rooms are Victorian in style with antique furnishings. The parlor features deep red walls and floral overstuffed sofas and a dressmaker's model garbed in a brown Victorian gown. Outdoor enthusiasts will find no shortage of activities, from facing the rapids in nearby Salmon River to fishing to horseback riding. The town of Salmon is just 12 miles away.

Lovely Stay

What a lovely stay! We rented most of the property for our family, and everyone was so enchanted with the house, cabins, environment, chickens and deer! When our plans include Idaho again we'll surely be back! Thanks for the hospitality and good food!

Beautiful and Relaxing

Beautiful and relaxing@ Love the decor throughout the house. Fantastic whitewater rafting trip with Kookaburra Rafting. Delicious breakfast both days!

Awesome

Greyhouse was awesome. Our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast. It was such a great experience for all of us. The house was lovely, and the breakfast delicious! Thank you for making the end of our vacation very Memorable!

Hospitality

We enjoyed your hospitality. The house is lovely, clean and quiet. Breakfast was great. Flying from Oklahoma City, to Ellensburg, WA. We had to turn back due to the fires landed in Salmon to find no Rooms available in Town. So glad someone recommended your bed and breakfast. My first time to stay at a Bed and Breakfast. This was delightful. I hope to return domeday to stay here again and go rafting and fishing. Thank you.

5th Anniversary

Sharon and Dave, thank you sooo much for making our 5th Anniversary so very special. And our first sta in a Bed and Breakfast. Were now officially spoiled rotten. My cold put a damper on things but your hospitality and comfortabel Green Room was wonderful for R&R. I love the enormous claw foot tub and the comfy bed. The warm lighting and vintage furniture and decore were the perfect finishing touches. We loved th eBrewery in town taht you recommended. One last delicious breakfast and its back home for us. Tanks and hope to see you again soon!
