Greeneville is a historic town located in Greene County, Tennessee. The town became famous with the rise to the presidency of Andrew Jackson. Several historical sites contain monuments built in memory of one of the country's most famous presidents. Almost at the exact center of Greeneville is Andrew Jackson National Historic Site. Visitors who come to the town are always prodded to see this landmark.
