This is a cute little inn that really needs updating. The fabrics on the furniture are worn and dirty looking. The breakfast was not a sit down prepared breakfast, but instead a buffet type, almost continental breakfast. Very not bed and breakfast type. Would not recommend

Circa 1888. Green Gables Inn, a half-timbered Queen Anne Victorian in Pacific Grove, California, appears as a fantasy of gables overlooking spectacular Monterey Bay. The parlor has stained-glass panels framing the fireplace and bay windows looking out to the sea. A favorite focal point is an antique carousel horse. Most of the guest rooms have panoramic views of the ocean, fireplaces, gleaming woodwork, soft quilts and teddy bears, and four rooms have spa tubs. After a bountiful breakfast borrow a bike from the inn and ride along cross the paved oceanfront cycling path across the street. Green Gables Inn is one of the Four Sisters Inns.
