Circa 1893. Built originally before the turn of the century by William P. Rogers, dean of the Indiana University Law School, for his bride Belle, the home served as both a private home and student residence until 1990. It was moved to its present location at 7th and Grant Street in the historic district and restored to its original elegance of hardwood flooring, crown moldings and raised porches. There are 24 individually decorated rooms, all featuring antique-style furnishings. All of the rooms offer private baths, TV and phones. Some of the rooms feature fireplaces and separate entrances. Suites offer the romance of Jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. Guests can enjoy a leisurely full breakfast in the breakfast room. The inn is located within walking distance of Indiana's largest antique mall and cultural events at Indiana University.
