Circa 1745. A National Registry landmark, Mount Hope Farm dates back to the 1680s and has more than 200 acres of fields, meadows, pastures, woodlands, ponds, streams and a medley of historic buildings. The Governor Bradford House was built in 1745 by Isaac Royal, a wealthy Massachusetts merchant. The two and one-half storied gambrel roof Colonial mansion was the style of its day.
