Description

Circa 1870. In the heart of Saint Marys Historic District, this Victorian inn rests behind a white picket fence, a three-minute walk from the Cumberland Island Ferry. There are five antique-filled guest rooms, three with fireplaces. Visitors will enjoy the original wood trim, high ceilings, wide-plank pine floors and a two-story veranda with swings. Breakfast is served in the dining room and in the evening, wine is served in the parlor. The historic fishing village has many points of interest to explore, and the Cumberland Island Sea Shore, Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base and Crooked River State Park are close by. Okefenokee Swamp is 30 minutes away. Activities in the area include kayaking, fishing and boating on the Intracoastal Waterway.
