“A place like home”
Inga OswaldI just came back from an absolutely fantastic stay in Whistler and a big reason for my great memories is the Golden Dreams B&B. Its a lovely place with an absolute lovely host. Ann spoils her guests with an amazing breakfast and gives her guests all the insider tips you need to explore the mountains/town.
The B&B is located very close to the town and a bus stop is right in front of the house. The bus just takes around 6min to mountain village and drives regularly. One big bonus is also the hot tub outside the deck. I will always come back to this place and I can just highly recommend it. I felt like home while being on vacation and Ann does an amazing job keeping her B&B as cozy as it can be :)!

“Our stay Sep 20/21 2012”
Matthias GrothWe had a short, but wonderful stay at Golden Dreams B&B for the first night of our Canada tour. Terry and Sam were very good hosts (we missed Ann), Terry did the kitchen job very well.
Thank you so much and take care.

“Cosy and romantic”
Annabel MiddletonBurnaby,
A quaint and cosy retreat in the heart of Whistler -- we slept so well in the Rainforest Room upstairs! The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows, and Ann (our hostess) not only made us delectable breakfasts, but spruced up our experience very delightfully with her bubbly personality and cheerful disposition.
We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub on the deck after a day out, and were particularly pleased about having plush terry bathrobes and slippers to use.
Ann also left maple biscuits by the kitchen every day and chocolates in our room -- just a few examples of the little touches that made our stay very pleasurable and memorable.
Thank you, Ann, for keeping everything spick and span, and providing such restful accommodations. You are truly the hostess with the mostest! :)

“Romantic Hideaway in the Rockies!”
Rachele Odnokon12/5/2010
This B&B is by far the loveliest we've ever stayed at! As a young couple on our first ever trip to Whistler, we could not have asked for more out of our accommodations. Every detail was covered, the room was beautiful and unique, with all the amenities you could need. There was even a complimentary decanter of sherry in our room, along with slippers and housecoats. The free breakfast was delicious and made for a perfect and nutritious start to our day, and at night, relaxing in the hot tub was a luxurious and enjoyable way to end a busy and exciting evening. Ann and Terry were so incredibly friendly and helpful, they even came out to meet us at night when we were arriving because we had trouble with our directions. The house is surrounded by tall pine trees and it has a country cottage feel to it while still being only steps away from the local transit stop, making it both peaceful and convenient, which is exactly what we were looking for. Thanks Ann and Terry for a wonderful stay!

“Not your typical B&B”
Susan SalembierScottdale, AZ

This B&B offers very spacious accommodations but it's the sparkling personality of the proprietess that makes it a true gem. I spent two days in Whistler in early September and wished I could have stayed longer! It's a truly stunning location.

“Wonderful Stay”
Sabine Lang7/15/2010
Ann and Terry were very nice hosts, and we got everything we needed during our stay. They have a huge house, the location is great and quiet.
The rooms were nice and clean, and so was the bathroom. There's a terrace with a hot tub, a garden, free parking and you will love their breakfast.
We would definitely stay there again.

“Whistler's Best!”
Michael Guerin3/8/2010
My experiance of Golden Dreams B&B was a week in the month of February 2010. Me and a friend stayed in the "Wild West" room and it was perfect. We each had a large, comfortable bed and with the bathroom directly across the hallway we had everything at our finger tips. With the living room upstairs and the hot tub on the deck, this made for a very enjoyable stay.
Ann the hostess could not have been nicer, she had a different breakfast prepared each morning, all to an extremely high standard, and an abundance of local knowledge and advice.
I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Whistler, or even anyone looking for a highly active holiday as Ann is very adaptable and caters for every need.

“3 Nights”
Warren Reyes2/1/2010
Having breakfast ready before we went riding all day was worth the stay. The crib is very chill and only about a 2 minute drive to the lifts and nightlife. Fully recommended if you looking for a chill place to rest your head with access to a hot tub.

“Lovely place to stay”
Claudia Steinberg10/31/2009
The Golden Dream is definitely a place to stay when you are traveling around Whistler. The host is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and diversified, and fresh made. And if you feel like needing a bit of a romantic relaxing - just hop into the outside hot tub. There you can relax while watching the stars - just fabulous! I really liked the place, everything was clean, and if I go back to Whistler I would stay there again.

“Whistler's Dream”
Sarah PooleLondon, UK,

Staying at Golden Dreams was a dream. We were welcomed as friends, the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast supendous. The only drawback was we stayed only one night which was a mistake on our part. This was a outstanding place to stay and we would certainly recommend it to anyone.

“Unexpected”
Rosalie M10/2/2009
The description given on the website by this b&b offered warm, comfortable bed and room with great breakfast to wake up to. The room we were shown was dark with just enough space to walk around the bed, smelled musty, moldy and sour. The sour smell came from a terrycloth bathrobe hanging in the musty dark closet. There were two other rooms which appeared brighter, roomier and pretty. In the bathroom, the power outlet didnot work, the fan didnot start. The mattress was covered with a thin quilt but it didnot relieve the hard mattress. The thin feather (chicken?) quilt (only cover) was damp as if it needed more dry time. When t menitioned the damp bed cover, no power in the bathroom, the hostess just look puzzled and didnot offer another beddin or check the power problem. After a sleepless night of coughs (dust allergy), I looked forward to the breakfast atleast. The breakfast was lukewarm weak coffee, yogurt parfait and pale greasey croissant tasting as if it was previously frozen and slightly warmed over. Where was the specially cooked breakfast the hostess prided herself on the website? the dark roasted coffee? the sunflower seed etc whole grain bread? homemade jam? French toast? After reading the website and offered as one of the selections from our event hostess (reason for our visit), I didn't think there would be reason to cancel this b&b despite their harsh cancellation plan (made known to me ONLY after booking) of being charged $100.00 if no other guest books the room we reserved even iF we cancelled before 14 days. WE have stayed at b&bs in the last 25 years, and I have not encountered such unacceptable accommodation and service.
