Description

Circa 1928. This spectacular log mansion was once a hideaway for the rich and famous. Ten fireplaces provide a roaring fire in each room in fall and winter. The Presidential Suite offers a massive rock fireplace embedded with fossils and quartz, facing the two-person Jacuzzi rock tub and four-poster bed. In the Clark Gable room is the fireplace Gable and Carole Lombard enjoyed on their honeymoon. Gourmet country breakfasts and afternoon hors d'oeuvres are served. In addition to the guest rooms, there are home rentals.
