My Favorite Vacation Spot Anywhere

I love the folks at Glenstone...Ursala and Robin are the best.....John and Rebecca (3rd Shift Staff) can't be beat....My family and I have stayed here for 10 yrs- We love the pool, elevator, and the big front foyer with the smell of good food.....Our church has an annual Married Couples Retreat here every November....its one of the highlights of our church ministires every year-most of all we love the people that run Glenstone...and I ask the Lord every time I leave to let me come back to Gatlinburg, and stay at the Glenstone.

Good Location, Great Value

My wife and I found a deal through Groupon and stayed here recently, and we both were pleased with our stay. The Glenstone Lodge is off of the main Parkway area, so it's quiet, but only a few blocks away from pretty much wherever you'd want to go in town. The downtown trolley stops right outside the place, which was a big help to us since my wife is over eight months pregnant. Under other circumstances, however, walking to attractions would have been an easily doable option. This hotel wasn't built yesterday, but I can't think of any basic amenities that aren't offered. It's well maintained and the staff was very courteous to us. I liked the overall character of the place. We didn't try the pool or the breakfast, but both of those looked fine as well. We would certainly stay here again if we happen to be in Gatlinburg in the future.

Comfort Among The Chaos of Gatlinburg

Comfortable Bed, Friendly Staff & Great Breakfast but not fancy. Sounds like you should avoid the rooms next to the indoor pool because it's a popular location for loud kids. It's lobby has an old glass elevator and computers to check email of browse the web. Located 3 blocks from the Gatlinburg strip so very calm and quiet. It's an old building but well kept and the front desk staff went out of their way to accommodate every need. I will stay here again if I must go to Gatlinburg.

Great Place

We had a great experience at the Glenstone Lodge. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The pool was fabulous for our kids. Will definitely stay here again when back in Gatlinburg.
