Would Highly Recommend

I traveled alone during July 2010. I was attending a wedding nearby. The innkeepers and their whole family made me feel so welcome. Everything is neat and clean and if you can do without electronics (no t.v. in bedrooms and poor cell phone reception), this is a really nice place to stay. My room was near the air conditioner, which was noisy, but it was fine with my foam earplugs.

Great stay!

We stayed for 1 night prior to our whitewater rafting trip. The owner welcomed us upon arrival and showed us to our terrific room, which was extremely comfortable and clean. We enjoyed some time after dinner relaxing in the great room, reading and sharing some wine and cheese with new friends. The rafting trip the following day was awesome!

Amazing Place!!

The whole experience with the Glen Lodge Bed & Breakfast was wonderful from booking the room to checking out. The entire staff (including thier 2 sons, Christina at the front desk, and the amazing cook) was extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. The rooms were extremely clean, the food was delicious, and the price was totally affordable. As a vegetarian, they were completely able to cater to my needs with delicious options. We loved how "green" the owners are and how this was reflected in every aspect of how they ran the lodge. We loved how staying at the lodge felt like the perfect balance of being in a "homey" environment with the perfect amount of privacy. It was definitely a nice treat to come back to the lodge after a long day and have warm, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and an array of organic teas to choose from. After our experience at the Glen Lodge Bed & Breakfast, we would not consider staying anywhere else! What makes Doug and Aimee's bed & breakfast stand out from others is their passion and genuineness. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful little inn!

I scheduled last-minute, booking two rooms the Wednesday before my folks' 30th Anniversary the following Saturday. Doug is extremely helpful and friendly. The beautiful inn is perfectly situated on the banks of the Hudson River, and there's plenty to see nearby. The breakfast was hearty, and served with a smile. Thanks, Glen Lodge!

A Geat Adirondack Inn!

My wife and I stayed for just one night on our way back from up-state NY. This B&B was great - very clean, very friendly, excellent food and friendly owners. I would highly recommend it!

Wonderful and Relaxing!

Glen Lodge Wonderful & Relaxing! We stayed for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed each day. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, fantastic breakfasts and friendly staff. Rooms are tastefully decorated, immaculate and very comfortable. We hiked, fished, white-water rafted, as well as drove to nearby Lake George, Adirondack Museum and Saratoga Springs. Michelle M.

Great place!

We stayed at Glen Lodge for two nights and also went white water rafting. It was a wonderful B & B. The lodgings were terrific, the food great, and the owners were wonderful!

Inviting

My husband and I stayed at the Glen Lodge in August 2013. The place was great. Clean and comfy. The hosts, chef and storekeepers were all very friendly and accommodating. The great room was a nice place to relax after each day on the road. From reservations to check out, it was all easy. Thank you Doug, Amy and crew.
