“Cozy and Romantic”
Donna Andorn (2 reviews)
Collegeville, PA
My husband and I stayed here on our 10th anniversary on the recommendation of my cousin. We were so pleased with our experience, we returned with another couple for a Christmas getaway. The rooms are so comfortable you never want to leave. However, the breakfast is truly amazing. We did enjoy the best food we ever tasted at dinner in the restaurant on several occasions. In all we have stayed 3 times, and are looking for another excuse to return! On our next stay the only plans off-site will be to visit a local winery!

InnSide Tip - more romance
If you must leave the grounds, there is a local wine trail close by. Also at the holiday season, Bethlehem is an awesome town to visit - be sure to reserve your horse drawn carriage ride!

“A FABULOUS INN”
Helen FeroneLakewood, NJ
I just came back today (Dec. 17th) after spending a wonderful night there. Everyone was gracious, and the room I was in (44) had everything I needed including a huge jacuzzi, also a Keurig coffee maker, with teas, coffee, etc. If that wasn't enough you could adjust your mattress to make it firmer or softer. Oh, if only I could take that home with me. I was by myself so the cordiality was welcomed to carry on a conversation with me especially Kerry at the front desk. She couldn't have been more helpful. Will I go back? No question about it, and when I do go back I'm hoping it will snow to make it even more magical. I'm not one for crowds so this time of the year was just perfect for me. Get ready!!!! I'll be back soon.

“Can't wait for our next getaway!”
Melissa Taylor (2 reviews)

We love the Glasbern! We have stayed there 3 times and are going back for Valentine's day. Everything is wonderful from atmosphere to food. The only compliant we have ever had is that the wood for the wood burning fireplace was wet and didn't burn very well. Can't wait for our next getaway!

We spent a weekend at this inn when we my husband and I had our first weekend away about 12 years ago. The views were breath taking, the private rooms were beautiful and we're planning to go back for the holidays.

“Disappointed”
Mary Beth HudsonCalvert City, KY
My colleague and I had reservations for two nights. We were pleased with our rooms in the Carriage House when we arrived. However, we were contacted by the Glasbern on the morning after our arrival asking when we planned to vacate our rooms. They said we only had rooms reserved for one night and they had important VIPs arriving that they intended to lodge in the rooms we occupied. After producing confirmation numbers and an e-mail from them, the Glasbern apologized, removed our personal belonging, and moved us into new, less luxurious rooms in another building. The message was clear: we were less important guests.

My husband and I have just returned from a friend's wedding at the Glasbern Inn - what a LOVELY time. The service was top-notch, the grounds and rooms were gorgeous and the food was superb. It was a great location for a romantic wedding and weekend get-away. We plan on going back soon.

“Relaxing Romantic Rejuvenating”
Kim M8/28/2010
My husband and I stayed here in late July for the first time. The property was beautiful and felt like it was in the middle of nowhere even though the highway was 5-10 min away. I still think about the dinner we ate there. The food was either fresh from the farm or local. And the room was comfortable, soft shifts, sleep number beds and to top it off a jacuzzi tub. It was elegant and rustic at the same time. We left that weekend feeling like a brand new couple.

“Glasbern very cozy, romantic!”
Carol & Aaron EbersoleWillow Street, PA

Several years ago, we saw Glasbern featured on the Travel Channel for one of the most romantic Inns. We saw that it was a little less than a 2 hour drive for us so decided to check it out. We were not disappointed! It is very peaceful, warm and cozy. We stayed in the Gatehouse which we loved! The room was very woodsy and warm and the spiral staircase leads you to a loft that has a large jacuzzi tub. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace added to the atmosphere. The bathroom is small but has little specials..at least to me since I'm an herb lover, nice soaps and amenities. We made reservations for dinner and it was fantastic! My husband had steak and I had leg of lamp and both meals were excellent. The breakfast that is included with the stay was also wonderful! Lot's of fresh fruit and juices and loved the fruit stuffed french toast. Since our stay, I have recommended it to several people and some of them have been back several times. We will be returning as soon as time permits. We definitely recommend this Inn to anyone that needs some quiet renewal time. We were there in the winter so we didn't get out much. I'm hoping to go in the Spring the next time as I would love to walk around the grounds. The flowers are beautiful in spring!

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast several years ago and it was a wonderful experience. It was his birthday and the staff accomodated my wishes for some extra special birthday surprises. The
room was absolutely fabulous-cozy and intimate. We didn't want to leave! Had a great dinner in the romantic restaurant and again, it was superb!

“Not so impressive”
Phil WPhiladelphia, PA

Stayed in the gatehouse for 2 nights and it was 2 nights too many. Ants crawling out of the wood work in the middle of Feb. had to wipe your feet before getting into bed because the floors were so dirty. It did have a nice fireplace but the wood wasnt seasoned so it didnt burn! TV broke before we arrived and they replaced it with one smaller then my computer monitor. Very overpriced! I will give them credit.....The 2 Martini's that cost us $23 were good! LOL no, we will not be back!

We have already stayed twice at Glasburn and we are ready to go back again when we have the time. The staff is pleasant and very accommodating. The waiter service is friendly and helpful. We loved our room which looked out over the pasture. It was secluded but near enough to the restaurant. The room was very clean and the bathroom also. Can't wait to go back.

“Most Romantic Inn”
Nadia Pletz- Allentown, PA1/21/2009
My husband and I spent our wedding night at the Glasbern and we have continued that special night with having all our anniversaries spent a weekend away at the Glasbern. We love the atmosphere and how beautiful the grounds are even in March! If anyone is looking for a romantic getaway I would highly suggest the Glasbern and would suggest staying in the Bi-Level Suite Stable.
