Description

Circa 1894. Elegant romance and storybook luxury can be found at this opulent Victorian inn. Eastlake and Queen Anne styles were uniquely combined to create a significant architectural landmark, well known to photographers. Guest rooms are richly decorated with antique furnishings, goose down comforters, and embroidered bath robes. You can each have your own claw foot tub in the glamorous blue and gold-toned Fountain Suite or choose the Rose Suite where the water will never grow cold when you bathe beside the fireplace. Another choice offers the opportunity to fill your dreams with the serene images from the murals in the Veneto. The breakfast table is laden with artfully displayed spicy eggs and cheese soufflé or stuffed French toast made with regional ingredients. Explore Ferndale then recount your adventures over wine, tea, pastries, and hors d’oeuvres each afternoon. The romantic inn offers meticulously maintained gardens with statues, fountains, and shaped hedges. Experience the Gingerbread Mansion with friends or family and receive a discount when at least three separate rooms are booked.

My perfect romantic wedding day

I can't possibly explain how fantastic the Gingerbread Mansion is! The owners were so helpful and enthusiastic in helping my husband and I have a last minute elopement that could not have gone better if I had planned for a year! The inn is richly decorated, with exquisite detail taken and guests are lavished with every comfort in mind. There is something truly wonderful about walking into an inn that not only takes care of every need you may have with grace and ease, but really shines with the attention of people who have shown it real love and care. We have memories to last a lifetime from this extraordinary place-thank you Gingerbread Mansion for the best day of my life!
