Annas Room

Anna came to America with a child in her arms and a suitcase in her hand. Her husband was killed in Germany on the way here. To support her family, Anna rented rooms and provided board. Later, her son Alex would continue the business with an old country hotel. The brass bed in this room was a gift from Alex and his wife Sarah with the hope that we too can provide for our family.

Our dearest Phil, a well-known designer and antique specialist, has supported us through the entire project of the B&B, giving us endless hours of consultation and wonderful ideas. This room was designed around components Phil likes in a room when he is away. Phil has impeccable taste and we are sure you'll agree. Thank you Phil for everything!!
