Description

Circa 1878. Owners Ken and Sandra worked as a labor of love at this 1878 Italianate townhouse which was bestowed a National Trust for Historic Preservation award. The bed and breakfast is located in the East Row Historic District, just four blocks from Newport on the Levee and five minutes from downtown Cincinnati. Antique furnishings accent the Victorian ambiance. Sit in front of the fireplace and listen to the melodious sounds of the vintage organ or phonograph in the music room. Feel pampered in the Nancy or Camille Room, each with a whirlpool tub. Gather for a full country breakfast in the formal dining room. Relax on the outdoor garden area and patio.

In town for a wedding

We stayed at the Gateway B&B last weekend and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were well fed in the morning and felt at home from the moment we arrived. It was right around the corner from the venue where the wedding reception took place. We also were able to take a nice walk along the river.
