Shaniko was the largest wool capital in the world at one time. Thousands of sheep raised in this area produced masses of wool that were shipped out via the rail line that connected with the Columbia. The old iron beds and quilts will make you wonder if you have gone back to that time. Upstairs room with vaulted ceiling, full river view deck, 2 queens, adjoins to the Bakeoven room (#215).
