The Oxfordshire Climb an interesting flight of steep stairs to the Oxfordshire room. This room has a queen bed and a nice sized sitting area with an inviting antique-reproduction electric firestove and 2 chairs. The room has 20’ high "A" frame ceiling with original hand-hewn exposed beams and hand-pegged joints. The original wide floor planks are softened by a richly-colored oriental carpet. Skylights enhance the natural cheerfulness of the room. Please note, 6'4" clearance to beams. With this room, you may choose to add The Gables, a smaller room under the eaves that contains twin beds. It shares a bath with the Oxfordshire, so is suitable only for traveling companions.
