Candlelight dining in intimate dining room, some Jacuzzis for two overlooking the lake
We enjoyed our stay here and dining on elk and venison our personal favorites. Many rooms have lake views and fine offerings. This is a wonderful choice if you are celebrating a special occasion because you can order desserts, drinks, a cake that is delivered with a flourish by the excellent staff. A beautiful experience.

Circa 1860. This Mission-style inn offers its guests elegant accommodations, fine dining in their Four Diamond restaurant and Grand Spectator award-winning wine. Overlooking Friends Lake, the inn provides easy access to the entire Adirondack area. Guests are welcome to borrow a canoe for a lake outing and use the inn's private beach or in-ground swimming pool. Guest rooms are well-appointed and most include four-poster beds. Many have breathtaking lake views or Jacuzzis. Three rooms have a wood-burning fireplace. An outdoor sauna is a favorite spot after a busy day of recreation. The 25km Tubbs Snowshoe Center is on site with wilderness trails and rentals. Trails are available for hiking as well.
