Thrill at the expanse of rolling pastures and towering cliffs rising above the river in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. This rare combination of unpretentious and unique architecture features every room with a view. In addition to the main Lodge there are in-the-round silo guest rooms, hand-hewn log cabins with stone fireplaces, and Riverside House which are all perfect for a true country getaway. Evenings are highlighted by contemporary American-style cuisine served in the historic Lewis Gristmill. Enjoy a change of pace, romance and exceptional fare surrounded by the incredible wilderness. The mountains, forests, fields and streams and all the creatures that call this their home reside peacefully and picture perfect. Winner - 2013 Top 10 Romantic Inn.

Words cannot describe the beauty

Just returned back home today after spending the weekend there. This was our second visit and we will go back year after year. Top draw accominadations and the food two meals a day are the very best. Do yourself a favor and go and enjoy all they have to offer.

Impressive Inn

We have stayed at many inns in France, England and Germany, none have impressed me as much as yours. You have made the most of a beautiful piece of property and I feel privileged to share it with you.
