On the National Register of Historic Homes, The Galen C. Moses House is located in the heart of Bath's Historic District. Designed by Frances Fassett in 1874 and redesigned in 1901 by John Calvin Stevens, this beautiful, Italianate mansion retains all of the grace and elegance of its 19th century beginnings. The interior of the house is both Victorian and Colonial Revival, offering generously proportioned rooms and is resplendent with high quality craftsmanship. Stained glass windows, including a Tiffany Studios original, elaborate friezes, as well as ornate wood trim and cabinetry are hallmarks of this vintage home. Included on the main level are an enormous living room, dining room, library and kitchen. Six bedrooms, each unique in design and decor, are located on the second level. The quality workmanship of the main level, including high ceilings, elaborate moldings, and beautiful fireplace mantels are carried throught the 2nd floor.
