Our visit to Fool's Cove was such an unexpected surprise. After traveling up a winding and beautifully scenic road for about 6 or 7 minutes, we rounded a corner to find our gorgeous "home" for the next couple of days. And home it was. We never felt like guests, but like family! But don't let that fool you, for we were also treated to 100% home-made, delicious breakfasts! All of this took place at what felt like the top of the world. The views were staggering in their beauty, both from inside the house and out (there are multiple decks and a 3rd floor roof-top lookout that is worthy of your best camera and lots of film!) Besides the bounty of spectacular sights, Fools Cove is secluded just enough to make one feel like the worries of the world just can't touch you. It is the perfect setting for reconnecting: with a sibling, child, parent or best friend. But if you go there with your spouse...get ready for some romance! As the tension melts away, the beauty and fresh air embraces you - well, I can just say that my husband of a few decades and I found it to be one of the most romantic places we've ever been. Fools Cove is so romantic, it just breaks the mold.
