Flying Cloud Bed & Breakfast

This lovely B&B sits directly across the street from the ocean. Sitting in front of the fireplace in my room - I enjoyed the ocean view. The rooms are charming and the breakfast delicious. We were visiting because of the death of a close friend - the innkeepers were very helpful & created a comfortable home base for us. Hopefully we'll return for a happier event ourselves, and highly recommend this inn for anyone. We've been to quite a few inns/B&B's - the Flying Cloud is very good.

I can't say enough good about the Flying Cloud Bed and Breakfast in Newcastle, Maine. The location is convenient, walking distance to the lovely coastal town of Damariscotta, and also within easy access of Route 1 for coastal touring. The room was comfortable and kept immaculate each day. The owners, Karen and Dave, provided exceptional service and guidance and were always willing to assist with our daily tour planning. We stayed at the Flying Cloud for 5 nights and, as such, were able to enjoy 5 extraordinary breakfasts with fresh fruit and vegetables, some of which grown right in Karen's garden. I would not hesitate to recommend this location to anyone. It was a home away from home for a lovely week in coastal Maine.

Here is where you will find a relaxed atmosphere and a hospital welcome. It is everything you hope for in a B&B. VERY clean and pleasant decor a wonderful breakfast with a hostess who is very willing to accommodate dietary needs. The gardens are as delicious as the food! You feel welcome and relaxed and enjoy lovely views of the boats in the harbor. An easy walk to a delightful downtown, yet the Inn's location perched on a knoll is removed and peaceful. This is the one you want to book!
