Great location with a parking space which is difficult to come by in Annapolis. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Amenities are sparse, no luxuries here, like an old school boarding house with lots of quirks. Proprietress can be meddlesome but means well. Breakfast is average and there is no coffee and tea available throughout the day. The price is excessive for what it is and the overbearingness of the rules and social interactions can be uncomfortable but if nothing else is available in the historic district it is a fine choice.

The spacious guest library is a welcome spot to enjoy fireside reading of local area guides and related books and magazines. Comfortable seating, good lighting and privacy are appealing amenities of the guest bedrooms. Fruit, cereals, fresh-baked breads, pastries and hot entrees are prepared for a satisfying breakfast in the dining room. The full-length front porch offers swings and teak benches to linger in. Coveted off-street parking is available on-site, and the many attractions of this bayside Colonial town are an easy walk.
