Staying here is like a WARM HUG! Easily overlooked because it is on the wrong side of the highway and your first thoughts would be that there is no ocean view, or at least not one worth looking at, but if you let that stop you not only would you be missing out on the incredible ocean views, but all of the wonders that this quaint inn has to offer. My husband and I stayed in the Tower Suite for our 10 year Anniversary. Bob (one of the innkeepers) greeted us at the door with a hug, a welcome and a bottle of champagne in our room. In the morning we were served a gourmet three course breakfasts with goodies such as baked pears in a raspberry sauce with raspberry sorbet, Dutch boys, and fresh squeezed orange juice, and hot muffins baked just for us. Add to this that they seated us in front of the huge windows that not only over looked a stunning meadow but the ocean just beyond. I could not have asked for a more romantic weekend. What sets this place apart for anywhere else I have ever stayed is the atmosphere created by the family who own and runs the place. This is their home, and they make you feel like welcome friends not paying customers. Its in the little details easily over looked, like the warm crackling fire let to die down in the corner of the room, or how they set out feed for the birds just moments before you were due to sit down, so that the meadow was full of life, and you eating breakfast with dozens of hummingbirds literally on the other side of the window. It’s the easy conversation, and how they take what they learn about you and point you in the right direction so that you and truly enjoy your time there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic get away, or someone looking to recharge a stressed out tired soul. *** Also they are Dog friendly and can help you find a puppy sitter for the day so you and your pups can have fun. Next time we are bringing our dog****
