Circa 1941. Known for its year-round fly fishing, Farrell House Lodge at Sunnybrook Trout Club graces 130 scenic woodland acres near Sandusky, Ohio. This nature conservancy has meadows, grand willows, wildlife and a two-mile stretch of the legendary spring-fed, crystal-clear Cold Creek, a stream with a thriving population of rainbow, brook and brown trout. Farrell House Lodge was built in 1941 as a replica of a two-story Southern plantation mansion. Stay in a guest bedroom or one of the two fireplace suites with traditional décor. The lodge and club are available to host special events and business meetings in the conference rooms and on the beautiful grounds.

Weekend at the Farrell House Lodge

Farrell House Lodge

We stayed at the Farrell House Lodge for a weekend. The rooms were very nice and clean and reasonably priced. The the food was wonderful. We stayed there because it is very close to Cedar Point but is secluded and away from all the traffic. You could also spend time fishing or just walking the property. I would stay there again.
