Evergreen Inn & Spa Reviews

We were impressed by the lovely antebellum architecture of the Evergreen Inn, but were frustrated by its need of repair and lack of personalized service. Though we arrived at the prearranged time, the live-in innkeeper failed to greet us upon arrival, necessitating us to telephone another staff person to check us in. Our room's tiny bathroom was in need of repair, making it necessary to move to another room whose bathroom had a working toilet but needed other minor repairs. The entire property was in need of a fresh coat of paint, and even one of the front windows was broken. The self-service continental breakfasts were mediocre at best. At least the inn was reasonably clean, if not well maintained.
