Amidst spectacular scenery of mountains and woods, guests will find this modern log home. Although the home is new, it rests on what was an old stagecoach route. A century-old barn is located on the property, as well as ruins of a 19th-century bunkhouse. The interior features hardwood floors and high ceilings, and the guest rooms are comfortably furnished in a modern style. There are two rooms with private baths and two adjoining rooms with a shared bath. Irene offers spring and fall hunting packages, where guests can search for deer, elk and wild turkey on the 525-acre property and adjacent Bureau of Land Management and state lands. The vast acreage borders Black Hills National Forest in South Dakota.
