One of the most amazing towns I have visited is the town of Enfield in the County of Gafton, New Hampshire. This town is composed of four villages which are Lockehaven, Lower Shaker Village, Upper Shaker Village, and Enfield. There are many points of interest in Enfield. There is the Lockhaven Schoolhouse Museum, the Shaker Historic Trail, and the Enfiled Shaker Museum. Conveniently situated in a valley lodged between Mascoma Lake and Mount Assurance, Enfield has a lot to offer. The Great Stone Dwelling is the largest Shaker dwelling house ever made and it is also where the Enfiled Shaker Museum is housed. Inside you will find collections of Shaker tools, furniture, clothing, photograph, and even agricultural tools. This museum offers special programs guided tours, exhibits, and even concerts.
