         <title>Elk Cove Inn &amp; Spa</title>
         <link>http://www.iloveinns.com/bed_and_breakfasts/california/elkcovespa.htm</link>
<description>Circa 1883. This early California Craftsman-style home was built as a guest house for lumber baron L. E. White. Operated as a full-service country inn since 1968, Elk Cove Inn commands a majestic, mile-wide ocean view from atop a scenic bluff. There are seven rooms in the mansion and four cliffside, ocean-front cottages. The best accommodations are the four ocean-front luxury suites with large windows, fireplaces, spa tubs and balconies. The European-style Day Spa offers a wide range of massage treatments and has a sauna and aromatherapy steam shower.. Most rooms have a fireplace and an ocean view. Down comforters, 400-plus thread count linens and luxurious robes add to the amenities. Below the inn is an expansive driftwood-strewn beach. Gourmet breakfasts with complimentary champagne are served in the ocean-view dining room. In the afternoon, guests are invited to enjoy complimentary wine or can enjoy the &quot;make your own cocktails&quot; offering. Refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers with fresh ground coffee, teas, cider and hot chocolate are available in the rooms. The oceanfront gazebo is the site of many small weddings and elopements. The inn offers a very affordable full wedding package.</description>
