Description

Circa 1883. Innkeeper Rita Graybill has filled her unusually named bed & breakfast with items she collected during 20 years in the diplomatic corp. Each room is named for a different place in the world, such as the Rangoon Room or Cadiz Garden Suite. The suite includes a rooftop garden, fireplace and whirlpool tub. For breakfast, homemade scones and tropical fruit accompany a special entree. Guests will enjoy strolling the streets of Stillwater, Minnesota's oldest town, which features many restored Victorian homes. Elephant Walk is a 35-minute drive from the Twin Cities.

Best B & B

This sets the bar for bed and breakfasts. Talking to Rita & Mike was like talking to an old friend. Loved that it is different decor then the normal Victorian inns. Definitely will be back. They care about the little details to make it extra special and each room has complimentary wine, cheese, fruit and chocolate. Along with a stocked fridge of soda and water. Above and beyond satisfied!

Amazing

This is hands down the best B&B I've ever been to. It's not your traditional Victorian style, but is actually fun and not stuffy. Plus you get an amazing cheese, bread and fruit basket- plus a bottle of wine- for every night you stay!! And the breakfast is out of this world, plus you WANT to talk to the owners- they don't awkwardly force themselves on you.
