Kilby House Inn

Overlooking scenic Passamaquoddy Bay, this restored Queen Anne Victorian inn offers elegance and comfort. The decor is refreshingly light and welcoming, instilling a summer house ambiance, even though the inn is furnished with antiques and family heirlooms. Relaxation is easy by the fireplace in the drawing room, or play the grand piano in the music room. After a restful night's sleep, enjoy a satisfying, hearty breakfast in the formal dining room or country kitchen with wood-burning Canadian wood stove. Homemade blueberry muffins, popovers and fresh fruit usually are served before the main course. Located in town among distinctive homes, it is an easy walk to the shops and restaurants of the historic downtown waterfront. Tour Raye's Mustard Mill, the country's oldest working mill.

The Milliken House B&B

This inn is filled with beautiful furnishings and knickknacks, much of which belonged to the home's first owner, Benjamin Milliken. Ornately carved, marble-topped pieces and period decor take guests back in time to the Victorian era. Milliken maintained a wharf on Eastport's waterfront from which he serviced the tall trading ships that used the harbor as a port of entry to the United States. An afternoon glass of port or sherry and chocolate turn-down service are among the amenities. Breakfasts are a gourmet treat, served in the dining room with its carved, antique furnishings.
