Eagles Nest Winery & Cottage

Dennis & Julie are wonderful innkeepers, they live the word hospitality. Friendly & available without being around all the time. They provide a fantastic orientation to the cottage, then melt back into the landscape until you need something. Everything is provided for a relaxing stay in a wonderland you will never want to leave. We spent a week in their beautifully appointed surroundings, using their fully equipped kitchen. On the last day it was a sad 30 minute drive back to the San Diego airport. We miss the sunset from the deck already. This will be at the top of our vacation list every year. Want to relax? This beautiful cottage truely seems like you are minutes away and mils apart. What an experience, the vineyard below the villa and the views to die for. One problem, plan on never wanting to leave. I suggest that you bring food to cook so that you can truely enjoy the experience.

Views, Views, Views ... What a wonderful, tranquil slice of heaven you have here. This has been such a romantic way to spend our first anniversary. Our week at your winery was an incredible escape to a timeless place. Every personal touch you have made from the beautiful, fresh cut flowers and cozy robes along with the amazing Italian decorations has truly made our stay more memorable. Your distinctive decorating is adorable. Our worries melted away in the herbal water of the Jacuzzi, our souls were soothed in the warmth of the flickering wood burning stove, and our spirits were rejuvenated basking in the morning sunlight of our private expansive deck as we gazed upon your endless views of the Ramona Valley and meticulously manicured grounds. We spent hours just walking the vineyards with a glass of wine made our first anniversary something we will always remember. The atmosphere is certainly conducive to loving. Thank you for creating such a lovely cottage.

Spectacular views, whirlpool baths, luxury amenities, heavenly breezes…You’ve created a slice of heaven they [competitors] can’t touch… You’ve now made it difficult for all your guests to enjoy other Cottages without saying “Yeah this is nice… but it’s still not the Eagles Nest Winery…” You were both so nice, generous, witty, respectful, and just down-to-earth. We’ll just have to come back every chance we can!
