Circa 1946. The Eagle Harbor Inn is located in the Historic District and offers a variety of accommodations. Rooms in the inn are decorated with antiques. Relax in one and two-bedroom suites with six-foot whirlpool tubs and two-sided fireplaces, full kitchens and private decks. Breakfast (optional for guests in the suites) is home cooked and served next to the garden in summertime. Afternoon refreshments are offered to all guests. There is an indoor current pool, sauna and fitness room. A scenic sandy beach is a block away. Nearby are shops and galleries, and Peninsula State Park, less than one mile, with golf, biking, hiking and sailing. Door County Peninsula offers the largest selection of lighthouses in any U.S. county.
