Romantic Interest
The pivotal point of romance is "Romancing the Stone" cabin tucked away on a wooded hillside in the heart of Amish Country. The unique feature of the natural rock formation is the water that trickles and ripples down the rock in front of the rose-colored heart-shaped Jacuzzi in a log alcove, all in the privacy of your room.

“Amazing!”
Cole HI have stayed at Donna's Premier Lodging several times and both times have been wonderful. It is truly a place to relax and reconnect with the one you love! We signed up for the Rose Petals & Candles Special. Definitely worth it! The candles were scented with Victoria's Secret type scents!! What a treat. The food was amazing and the staff (Nicole) couldn't have been more accommodating with suggestions and local attractions. We will be back!

“Lovely”

We stayed in Cedar Cabin 6 for a wonderful week. The staff was more than friendly and very helpful. The accommodations were more than my wife and I could have ever imagined. I would recommend Donnas to everyone. Was the best vacation we have ever had.

“WAY Overpriced!!!”
Sharon T2/23/2010
Do NOT stay here! This is NOT "premier" lodging. Stayed in the Sauna Suite & was woken at 6 AM by staff people walking in the office above us...for $180 a night!?! Ridiculous!!! Creaky screen door... concrete pillows... noisy fridge kept me up all night anyway. Hubby paid an extra $30 for candles & rose petals - cheap dollar store stuff - fake rose petals too! 100% rip off. (She did send a $30 refund for this after the fact, since I complained) There is no separate living room with TV as shown on the website either - the mini couch is at the foot of the bed in the same small room. The pictures DO NOT reflect reality. On top of the fireplace was a tiny TV, VCR/DVD combo and a small lamp - all their wires hanging out connected to a 3 plug adapter - cheesy. No antenna/reception on the stereo either. Curtains are not correctly fitted to the window, so light comes through the sides - not exactly conducive to sleeping in, or darkening the room during the day. I read the other review... Where are these people from? The inner-city? We live in the city & its nicer/quieter than Donnas "Premier" Sauna Suite. Also, the hot breakfast was an extra $10 a person - REALLY?!? For $179/night, I think a hot breakfast should be included. We heard the "Inn at the Amish Door" is a really nice place - for MUCH less $

“A Little Piece of Heaven!!!”
Anonymous2/1/2006
Many thanks for this little piece of heaven! My husband and I work 60-80 hour weeks. When we both had two days off in a row, I wanted to sneak him away to somewhere wonderful. Donna's exceeded any expectation I could have dreamt up. From the moment we opened the door and were greeted by an inviting gas fireplace, homemade cookies, fresh fruit, and sparkling cider, we knew we were somewhere magical. Donna truly thought of every detail -- romantic CD's for the surround sound stereo system, bubble bath for the jacuzzi, soft fragranced towels by the jacuzzi. We had a wonderful visit and recommend the place to anyone. It is extremely clean and well-maintained. There are 20-30 cute little shops within easy walking distance. We will definitely be back!
