Deadwood is one of the cities in South Dakota that were founded during the boom of gold mining in the state during the latter part of the 19th century. Its history, however, is not the only reason why visitors come to this city. There may be a lot of sites that remind visitors of Deadwood past but the city has several other natural wonders to offer. Tourists can try the Blacktail Horseback Riding and Walking Tours, which can be arranged as soon as they arrive at their Deadwood bed and breakfast accommodations. They can also visit Saloon No. 10, which is probably the only saloon that offers guests the opportunity of playing poker and other card games. There are some Deadwood bed and breakfast inns near it. For those who want to experience the city's past, they can visit the Broken Boot Gold Mine. This is one of the few former gold mines in Deadwood that has been preserved. By Black Hills Hideaway B&B.
