We looked all over for a quiet peacefull place to unwind and finally found Cupids Castle in Pauma Valley California and I can't keep from coming back. When you stay at the Castle you think of Tranquilly,a place of pure relaxation with no noise a quiet relaxing atmosphere with the smell of Lemons in the air. Each room comes with a super king size bed and swimming pool size spa tub. Hosts Ted and Connie always treat you as if you were a King and Queen. This is such a beautiful place – both inside and out. It’s close enough to San Diego to do the tourist things, but far enough away to feel like you are in the country. Connie and Ted do a fantastic job to make you feel at home during your stay. We hope to return and experience it again!

I have traveled all over the world, but haven't found a B&B like Cupid's Castle. The rooms are romantic and so different. Our room had a large tub for two, with candles, and wonderful atmosphere. The Castle is located in the mountains, with an incredible view and peace. The Innkeepers were very friendly, and catered to our every need. The food was exceptional. All homemade, fresh, and nothing came frozen. The lemonade with berries, was to die for. The Castle is in the middle of a lemon orchard, which smelt so wonderful and fresh. We have gone there several times, and have recommended it to all our friends. We plan a wedding there with all our family and friends. Close by is a Casino if you are chance your luck. I love this Castle and feel they should win the award as BEST B&B, and most romantic....

Cupid's Castle B&B is close to town, yet nestled back in a lemon grove. The first thing that struck me was the aroma when I stepped out of my car; nature at its best. Once I stepped inside the castle I felt like I was truly in a real castle. Connie hasn't missed a detail. If you listen to her stories you will soon find out just how romantic she is, which is how she is able to pass it on to her guests.

Connie and Ted are so friendly and nice that you will feel relaxed and at home. Connie is an excellent cook and does so many little special surprises for her guests. The Castle is beautiful inside and outside has the best atmosphere for a wedding or a romantic stay. It is private and secluded, but has lots of entertainment close by. I have never stayed at a nicer B&B. You won't be disappointed.

The name describes the ambiance. Connie and Ted are delightful hosts who make you feel welcome from the time you make the reservation. Tucked away in the middle of a lemon orchard, you feel like you are in another time. The rooms are cozy, clean and quaint. The in room couple's massages were tremendously relaxing. The food was superbly prepared and presented by Connie, who is an award winning gourmet chef in her own right. I cannot wait for the next time we vacation there again.

Cupid's Castle is the most romantic get away that is tucked away in lemon orchards and beautiful blooming flowers. We stayed in Cupid's Chambers and felt like royalty. Connie cooked us amazing & delicious meals and Ted told us wonderful old stories. We went back a few times and even got married there. Highly recommend!

We were finally able to secure a reservation using the certificate after many attempts. This is a different experience than most in terms of ambiance and activities with royal touches typical of a castle. We got the impression that family and other interests prevail, which is not a bad thing. Being rather “far out”, one must drive to anything. Casinos are a short drive if that is your pleasure.

My husband and I have had the most romantic wedding at a most beautiful sight in Pama Valley called cupids castle, everything about our stay was fantastic. The owners have been married 50 years this month. What an amazing couple. The castle decor is darling full of love and happiness. We even stay a the castle for our first annervicy and are looking forward to a return soon. We feel that they should win hands for all the love that they share. Just being in the bed and breakfast is the beginning of a wonderful stay and to enjoy the warmth and love that Ted and Connie spread is unforgettable. The quiet lazy afternoons, the peacefull starlighted nights and waking up to a mouth watering breakfast with Connie and Ted is about as good as it gets. The gracious hospitality that we received at Cupids Castle was fit for a king or queen. Cant wait to return for another relaxing and carefree stay

We flew all the way to California from Pennsylvania for our Romantic getaway. When we arrived at the secluded castle we were greated by inkeepers, Connie and Ted and were made to feel like family from the get go. When we were shown to our rooms it was hard to contain our excitment. They were so private and romantic, with all the ameneties anyone would need with out having to emerge for the entire weekend. There was even a little kitchenette that we could go to our own little snacks or beverages. But let me tell you that would have been a big mistake to miss out on the wonderful meals that the Queen of the Castle, Connie, made for us. Coming to mind was the wonderful Apple French Toast, yum. And our breakfast was served outside overlooking the beautiful lemon orchard. It was truly the best and most romantic weekend. Can't wait to go back!!!

Cupid's Castle is THE most romantic and wonderful B & B ever! Connie cooked us delicious meals and we loved listening to her & Ted's adventures and advice of life and staying happily married. The rooms are beautiful fantasy and cozy and the views from each room are like a dream. We will be back for our 1st Anniversary with you both. Thank you Connie and Ted.

We had our wedding here and couldn't be happier how it all turned out. The innkeepers, Ted & Connie, are wonderful and make everyone feel at home. Connie's cooking is excellent, the rooms are beautiful and the setting is breathtaking. The location is convenient to visit all the San Diego sites - the zoo, animal park, hot air ballooning, whale-watching, Julian and the Observatory to name a few! You won't be disappointed!

Cupid's Castle B&B in Pauma Valley, CA is the ultimate romantic inn. It's like having Valentine's Day every time we stay there. The decor is reminiscent of Knights in shining armour pledging their love to the Lady of their dreams. It's modern conveniences combined with old fashioned romance! Innkeepers Connie and Ted set the tone with their considerate, loving personalities towards their guests and towards each other. They're celebrating 50 years of marriage and are more in love every year. It shows in their faces! You just can't fake that. Cupid's Castle has a comfortable feel that adds to our romantic getaway. Connie is a gourmet cook who knows what lovers want to eat! Did anyone say "chocolate"? All in all, a great experience that I'd recommend to anyone! You won't be disappointed.
