Description

Circa 1820. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this stunning Greek Revival mansion sits on seven lush acres with scenic Hudson Valley views. It is elegantly furnished with period antiques and fine reproductions. The Chimneys Cottage, built in 1764, features romantic bedrooms with a more rustic colonial decor. Awaken to the aroma of a gourmet breakfast served in the country dining room or outside veranda. More than 4,000 acres of hiking trails are steps from the front door. Arrange for a picnic or enjoy a fireside massage. Nap in the hammock, sip wine on the patio next to the classic fountain and watch the sunset from the rear lawn. The farm next door offers unique gifts and treats. Each season has plenty to explore.

Romantic Elopement

A beautiful Inn to start off our marriage - we took our first weekend away, got engaged and return twice a year to stay in our favorite room in the house. This past August we planned our elopement at the Inn - they took care of everything - beautifully dressed we headed to the back meadow to meet the justice under the old Magolia tree - the flowers, the music the day was all beautiful. A perfect place to celebrate those special romantic getaways - we will be returning as we do every year for Valentines Day.
