Romatic Get Away Fullfilled!

The weekend of Aug. 3, my husband and I stayed at Crawford House Inn in Dixon, Illinois for belated father's day get away and for my birthday. From the moment we arrived, Lynn made us feel right at home. She doesn't leave anything undone. Many extra touches like fresh water in crystal pitcher with glasses waiting in our glorious cheerful, bright, four poster bed room. The luxurious feather bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Our delicious breakfast served on beautiful china in Lynn's fabulous formal dining room would take your breath away. We felt so pampered and cared for. We will return!

Best in Tri-City

A mid-spring and Christmas week stay were a welcome respite from the middling motels afforded in town. My husband, a frequent corporate traveler hesitant to forego the familiarity of national hoteling was quickly enamored in the splendid appointments and the ever gracious hostess, Lyn. Over a five day holiday stay the scrumptious breakfasts never repeated in fare or table service. We enjoy grabbing a coffee at Books on First and chatting with Larry but rarely did these trips as the java was spot on and plentiful here. The Summer Room (our favorite was perfect for a two night stay in April we were equally comfortable in the Winter Room (closest to shared bath). Of our many holiday trips to Dixon, this recent pilgrimage sparkles in our memory of fun with family and superior comfort- thank you, Lyn!

WOW

We have stayed there two times already, and still talk about the place. Lynn is a wonderful hostess and great breakfast maker! Peter & Ginger
