Circa 1854. In 1854, Joseph Crawford, who counted Abraham Lincoln among his friends, built this Italianate Victorian house that bears his name. Now a B&B, Crawford House offers a glimpse into small-town America. Guest bedrooms feature feather beds. Breakfasts are served with white linens, china and stemware in the dining room. Gourmet breakfasts include juice, coffee, an egg entree, fresh baked goods and seasonal fruits. The streets of Dixon are lined with colorful flower beds.
