Description

Circa 1875. Stately and elegant, this striking historic Italianate Victorian sits just two blocks from downtown Ashland and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Relax on the front porch, in the courtyard amid the English gardens, or on the balcony with gorgeous views of the Cascade Mountains. Stay in a spacious guest suite with details that may include stained glass windows, a sitting room or fireside den, clawfoot or Jacuzzi tub. Separate garden cottages feature a kitchenette, living room, gas fireplace and two-person Jacuzzi. A two-course gourmet breakfast is served daily in the dining room or courtyard garden setting. Hike Lithia Park or the nearby Pacific Northwest Trail and take a scenic day trip to Crater Lake.

Delightfful Experience

We slept better here than we do at home! The breakfasts are beyond compare...beautifully served, delicious, and nutritious; your hospitality completes the delightful experience. All this and fabulous theatre too! We enjoyed your supply of periodicals and drama books as well!

Handicapped Travelers Beware!

Warning! If you are handicapped and traveling with your service dog you are NOT welcome here! The owner never had the decency to return my phone call as promised. It was obvious he didn't want our business only AFTER I told him we were traveling with my service dog. I have never been denied access to a B&B before and it was a very hurtful experience to be treated like a 2nd class citizen. You can't judge a B&B by it's cover, it might be pretty on first sight but the people that run it can make it very ugly and uninviting. We did find a lovely B&B (also no pets) that was truly happy to accomodate us and my service dog...not as fancy mind you but Christian. You decide what's more important the furniture or the karma.
