         <title>Chesnut Cottage B&amp;B</title>
         <link>http://www.iloveinns.com/bed_and_breakfasts/south_carolina/chesnutcottage.htm</link>
<description>This inn was originally the home of Confederate General James Chesnut and his wife, writer Mary Boykin Miller Chesnut. She authored &quot;A Diary From Dixie,&quot; written during the Civil War but published posthumously in 1905. The white frame one-and-a-half-story house has a central dormer with an arched window above the main entrance. The small porch has four octagonal columns and an ironwork balustrade. Hearty breakfasts are served in the privacy of your room, on the porch or in the main dining room. The innkeepers can provide you with sightseeing information, make advance dinner reservations, as well as cater to any other special interests you might have.</description>
