Description

Circa 1876. Built by the governor of Maryland as a grand Newport, Rhode Island summerhouse in the style of a Second Empire Victorian, this historic inn sits poised overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. A mansard roof and many bay windows accent the architecture. Luxury guest rooms and suites boast Victorian furnishings and fireplaces. Some feature marble baths and many have double whirlpool tubs. After a satisfying breakfast, stroll along the popular Cliff Walk, located one block away.

New Years

My girlfriend and I stayed over the New Years holiday this year 12/30/10-1/1/11 and had a great time. New owners just took over that week and were very accommodating and excited about the renovations that were to begin the day after we left. Great location and property. Renovations were needed and will greatly enhance the B&B experience and this unique and classic Victorian property.

TLC

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cliffside Inn and would give a 5 rating if it were based strictly on the bed and location. The room we stayed in needed the carpet replaced and curtains updated.
