“A Wonderful Getaway”
Sharon PSan Jose, CA
The Cliff House was the perfect ending to our trip to Oregon. Our room was cozy and comfortable. I was able to arrange to have a massage with Denise in the gazebo, while listening to the ocean. How great is that!! We were pleasantly surprised when we were told we would have tea brought to us before breckfast in the morning. The whole experience was great. The food, the cleaniliness, and the friendlyness of the staff was over and above. If you get to the Oregon Coast you won't regret staying at the Cliff House.

“Romantic, Restful, Irresistible”
Cheryl L2/25/2011
My husband and I decided to delay Valentines Day and celebrate it together at the Cliff House B&B in Waldport, Oregon, staying three nights. The inn perches on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, close enough to the beach to identify the birds by the color of thier eyes. The inn and the grounds are lovely and immaculate without being too formal.I always felt comfortable in warm sweaters and jeans. Our room was warm and inviting-we slept very well. Sharon served us gluten free and dairy free breakfasts large enough to skip lunch. Sharon and Glen made our trip so much fun. They know when to interact with us and when to leave us alone. It would be hard to overstate the beauty and comfort of this unique B&B. If your idea of romantic is long walks on the beach, glorious sunsets, spectacular scenery and plenty of privacy, you will probably like the Cliff House as much as we did.

InnSide Tip - Sushi on the Oregon Coast
Yuzen Japanese Cusine at Seal Rock is the best probably in Washington and Oregon. The new chef is fast as well as fantastic. The sushi cannot be overrated. Try the Hawaian Rolls if you like spicy. The price point is a wonderful surprise if you are used to big city pricing. Yuzen is the best when you are with a group. Four of us, very hungry ate a lot, had beer and wine and dessert for $73.00/couple including tip. Highly Recommended!

“Romantic and private”

Every room has a beautiful view but we love staying in the Alsea Room due to its private entrance. We've stayed in a number of B&Bs along the Oregon and Washington coast but this one is in a class of its own. The view, private deck and hot tub (available to all but we didn't have to share) provide the perfect place for romance (and the innkeeper stays out of your way unless you need/want something). The breakfast is amazing. We've been back year after year to escape every day concerns and spend romantic time together.

“Relaxation and Romance”
Lisa B3/30/2010
If you are looking for a B & B that is absolutely the best, look no further. The views from Cliffhouse are the best. The rooms are charming and comfortable. You are met with Warm cookies and brownies. Prebreakfast beverages are such a nice touch and the breakfasts are wonderful. Hot muffins and scones greated us every morning along with fresh squeezed orange juice. The hosts Sharon and Glen are friendly and extremely knowledgeble of the area. And they have the 3 sweetest (and quiet) dogs. This has got to be the best view on the Oregon Coast. We booked our honeymoon here before we left the inn.

“All and More”
Pete B1/28/2010
My wife and I stayed at the Cliff House in January for 4 nites and loved it! It was all we expected and more. We stayed in tthe Alsea Room and it was great. The view was fantastic. It was great to have coffee set outside our door every morning and we liked the private entrance. Each breakfast was a delightful treat. Sharon is a great host and we had numerous good conversations. We would recommend this B&B to our friend and family.

“An Incredible Escape...”

Over the years, we have stayed at B&Bs in numerous places in the U.S. and abroad, including staying at the Cliff House numerous times over the past 10 + years. We have enjoyed ourselves so much that not only have we kept going back, we have repeatedly given friends visits there as gifts. Having just returned from two nights celebrating our anniversary there, we yet again were not disappointed. A delightfully beautiful place with a warm and welcoming host (and great cook!) You just can't go wrong at the Cliff House.

“Romantic Oregon Coast B&B”
Sue K9/11/2009
A walk on the beach, cozy comfortable lodging, spectacular views and a gourmet breakfast - that is what the Cliff House is all about! Our stay was relaxing from enjoying a beautiful sunset from the swing seats on the deck to waking up and gazing out toward the Pacific from our bed in the Alsea Room. Thank you to our hosts, Sharon and Glen, it was a wonderful stay.

This was our second stay at the Cliff House. The view is fantastic and the Inn charming. We had a private deck to relax & watch the ocean. The homemade breakfasts made by Sharon were outstanding and also the homemade cookies and lemonaid for snacks. We had a great relaxing weekend and Sharon & Glen were terrific!!

This B&B was such a treat for our 30th anniversary. It met all of our expectaions and then some. Sharon and Glen were so friendly and helpful. The view was outstanding, the room was perfect, the food was wonderful and we highly recommend a visit here. We loved being lulled to sleep the sound of the waves.

The location was quiet and the breakfasts were great. Sharon's willingness to accommodate different dietary and personal tastes is a nice feature. We chose the Alsea Room due to its private entrance and truly enjoyed the room. Watching the waves and the river meet the ocean was wonderful. The coast was quite foggy for most of our stay but since we had such a good place to relax, we were perfectly happy. Highly recommend this B&B and we will return.

“Excellent Choice”
Gene WSalem, OR

We picked the Cliff House from reviews on the internet and were we pleasantly surprised. It is just off the main highway and perched on the cliff with views of the Waldport bridge, river, bay, and Pacific Ocean. The breakfast is a full "home made" delight. Not just a bowl of granola like some B&B's
we have stayed in. We had a room with huge skylights, a quaint parlor stove, direct TV, and our own private deck. This is our favorite B&B so far! It was an excellent choice!

“Good Choice”
Bob HWatsonville, CA

We have stayed in several inns over the years up and down the Oregon Coast. This is by far our favorite. The view is wonderful. The Inn Keeper very gracious. The breakfast made from scratch fantastic. The rooms comfortable. The beach is one of the best ever and goes for miles. We always recharge here keep returning. Sharon's little Taffy had passed but she had a darling new "Pom" puppy and two well behaved Golden Retrievers that wait patiently for breakfast left overs. This is always a good choice!

InnSide Tip - dining
Dining is either up to Newport or down to Yachats and there aqre great places to eat. Waldport however, has little to offer for dining.

“Don't miss this one!!!”
John C.7/23/2008
Sharon (the Innkeeper) was great. She made everyone feel right at home. Her breakfast are all made from scratch and she gives out zip lock bags after so the guest can take the extra home made muffins and scones for later. Each day was a feast. The rooms have the best view I have seen on the Oregon Coast. The deck off the room was fantastic and we could watch the full moon as well as the Pacific Ocean and the Alsea Bay and River. The town lights twinkled over the water at night and we could see the bridge. There were hundreds of sea lions and even a couple of Bald Eagles to watch from the decks and beach. There is a beautiful Gazebo that I wish we had had a massage in. (next time) Don't miss this one!!!
