Historic Interest
Built between 1922-1925, The Baker Home built by the family that put in Ladner's first hardware store, blacksmith shop and then the first car dealership. The building was used as the home base for provincial autistic children society through the late 1970s early 80s then rather than being torn down for a larger facility it was moved in its entirety one block to it's present location. It received The Heritage Preservation Award in 2002.
