We decided to stay at the Chimney Hill Inn 2 weeks ago. It was a very nice hotel on a nice farm. We stayed one night. The next day after we got home, my wife noticed all these bite marks all over her body. She had an appointment with her doctor two days later and her doctor said they looked like bed bug bites. She notified Chimney Hill Inn and communicated with Terrry, one of the owners. She said she would have an exterminator look at the room but she never got back to us. While waiting for her to reply, I started to get the same type of bites my wife had. We notified our apartment complex that we may have gotten bed bugs and they along with the exterminator that we were required to hire and pay for!! said the bumps looked exactly like bed bug bites. I called Chimney Hill Inn, twice and finally got a call back from the guy who makes breakfast for the guest. He said that he checked under the bed for the bed bugs but found none. Wow, that was their exterminator?? The same guy who is the cook. I asked that they please have an licensed exterminator check the room for future guests sakes. (I don't want anyone to go through what we had to) and send me the report. He said, he would call me back. It has been 5 days and no call. I am surely going to report them to the Health Department. Beware of these rooms. All in all it has cost us over $500 to hire an exterminator, wash and bag all our cloths and take time off of work to do so. Worst serice with no regards for their guests!!
