Circa 1890. An 1890 farmhouse in the privacy and beauty of a mountain valley in northern Pocahontas County and the Monongahela National Forest this inn has much to offer. Bring skis for a day or a weekend at Snowshoe Ski Resort. Come back after skiing and relax in one of the four oversized guestrooms with private baths. Be sure to ask where to have dinner, or relax and have dinner at the Inn. Wake up to a great breakfast, including the extras of specially brewed coffee; selection of juices at the table, muffins or biscuits and usually a breakfast recipe from Paulas recipe books. The inn is 3 miles from the Greenbrier River Trail, 5 miles form the National Radio Telescope though most also just come and relax in front of the fireplace in the Common Room. Your hosts Larry & Paula will help with your plans, from when to ski, which slopes are the busiest, where to get rental equipment (at a discount!) and anything else you may need for your getaway.
