Stayinmg longer

Arrived here for 1 night to be told there was a free upgrade available for us! On seeing the room, Summer Kitchen, we decided to stay 2 nights! Lovely B&B, spotlessly clean & beautifully furnished. We had both a fireplace and Jacuzzi bath. There is parking at the B&B and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is served at a table with other guests which were very interesting. The breakfast was delicious and different on both mornings. We had no special food requirements but Willa did check this with us on arrival. It is only a few minutes walk to Woodstock and its shops & restaurants. The owners were always available to help guests and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We'll be back

We spent one night at the Charleston House and couldn't have been more pleased! Everything is beautifully done. The house itself is lovely with a lot of period detail and furniture. We enjoyed sleeping in a canopied four post Charleston rice bed! The breakfast was wonderful and cooked to order. The hosts are friendly and are happy to chat about the local area. The house is located right in the village. No need to drive anywhere and search for parking! I didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back!

Great Alternative

We very rarely stay in bed and breakfasts mainly due to my diet restrictions. We originally had reserved an apartment in Woodstock, but at the last minute the boiler went out. They owners of the apartment highly recommended The Charleston Inn so we decided to give it a try. The rooms were very well done and the owners were really gracious hosts. When I explained what I could and could not eat she said it was not a problem and the next morning we were treated to a great breakfast. Willa and Dixi were also very interesting people to talk to and I really felt that I was visiting with friends rather than renting a room from someone. The BB is also located in the heart of Woodstock so you can walk to restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend The Charleston House.
