Circa 1928. Originally purchased from a Sears & Roebuck catalog, this Dutch Colonial home that overlooks Willapa Bay and Long Island's wildlife refuge has been impressively restored. Relax by firelight in the living room on the lambskin rug, or enjoy the view from the sunroom. Guest bedrooms are furnished with a blend of antiques and period furnishings. Homemade muffins, scones or sweet rolls with honey butter and jam accompany sausage and a double-cheese-and-bacon quiche for a typical breakfast in the dining room. Bird watch from the back deck, or gaze at the goldfish and koi in the pond. A nap on a nearby hammock is an inviting respite.
