Circa 1885. Considered to be a distinctive historic landmark in the Berkshire Hills, Chambery Inn was originally a parochial school. Now a gracious country inn on one acre with French-inspired design, it offers relaxation, rest and rejuvenation as a new version of the traditional 3 R's. Stay in one of a variety of spacious guest suites that offers a perfect retreat. Biggest rooms in the area at the best price I could find even had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies when we checked in
