We loved the showers for two and the romantic fireplaces. The food was to die for! The innkeepers made you feel like you were royalty! Took a romantic walk around the grounds and had a great dinner. We enjoyed a terrific dessert by the fireplace. Our favorite dessert was the triple berry blossom tart! The decor made you feel like you were in a five star hotel in the middle of the woods! We cant wait to go back and bring friends.

Romantic doesn't begin to capture the wonderful ambiance of the Chalet of Canandaigua! The cracklin fireplace, the smell of fresh baked goodies, the softly falling snow, the soft background music, the lovely flowers - comfy beds, warm bathroom floors, giant soaking tubs - who could ask for more? Our stay was memorable, relaxing, romatic and rejuvenating and the food was fantastic - thanks so much for everything we had a truly memorable experience! Dianne Manfredini and Ken Deppen. My wife and I visited this area of New York from the UK mainly because we liked the look of The Chalet from the website. The gourmet breakfasts made fresh each day are incredible and the hosts understand how to make your stay special. Set in beautiful grounds with excellent views on all sides, it is hard to imagine how much better this could be. The lovely town is only a short drive away but the temptation to stay in and around The Chalet and enjoy it's ambiance and warmth to make the most of your time is strong. We will be coming back and also recommending in the highest possible terms. Thank you so much P&M

My husband and I stayed at the Chalet after we found the website on the internet. It was a fantastic and very romantic escape for us. We can't say enough good things about the Chalet. From the wonderful innkeepers, the beautiful suites, the fantastic food and the lovely surroundings if you are looking to get away from it all with your partner we highly recommend you stay at the Chalet!

The Chalet was more than we imagined! As a getaway from everyday busy life (and the kids!) this was perfect. Top notch service and accomodations - not your typical B&B. The room, grounds and scenery were beautiful - perfect setting for a romantic escape any time of year.

From the attentive service to the attention to detail in the chalet, the setting and the decadent breakfast, this B&B ranks #1 for romantic weekend getaways. It is not inexpensive but is well worth it for that special weekend. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I visited the Chalet for our first wedding anniversary. When we entered our room we had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us which led to a very romantic night. Also, we both received massages in our room which was very relaxing. The two person tub as well as a two person shower was used quite a lot for a one night stay. We plan to visit on a yearly basis for our anniversary.
